Have you had a chance to weigh up which Cheviot Hills summer camp you are going to send your kids to this year?
Well, talk about hometown pride! Cheviot Hills native Charlie Bennett loves his town so much, he’s tattooed it onto his arm. We met Charlie during the Cheviot Hills Pony Baseball Opening Day ceremonies where he was promoting his summer camp: Prime Time Sports. Around for 25 years and with a camper to staff ration of 6:1, Prime Time has much to offer its 4-14 year old boys and girls including a variety of sports, special events and favorite games like capture the flag and hula hooping! Iverbe Sports Camp was also represented that day at Opening Ceremonies and Iverbe is where our boys have gone for the last few years.
It’s been a really great experience for our family. Terrific coaches, well organized activities, fun co-campers and the best part of all: lunch from Marty’s is included! We can also vouch for Sandy Days if you’d like your kids to have the ultimate beach camp experience.
Maybe you are considering an overnight camp for your kids this year? You may want to call Cheviot Hills resident Jill Levin. She’s the west coast advisor for Tips on Trips and Camps and calls herself a travel agent for kids. It’s a service that is absolutely free of charge and she will advise parents about what may be the best match for an overnight camp experience for their children and teens, ages 8-18.
