Khloe Kardashian Sold Her Calabasas Home For $15.5M

By |November 9th, 2020|Celebrity Real Estate|

It’s been reported that Khloe Kardashian, star of the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” TV show just sold her Calabasas, CA home for a record $15.5 million.

Khloe purchased the Mediterranean home for $7.2 million from Justin Bieber in 2014.

Right now, Los Angeles is a seller’s market – inventory is low and demand is high. And, prices have been trending up because of that.

TMZ had reported that Khloe was initially seeking nearly $19 million for her home. Though that price wasn’t reached, the sale still set a record per-square-foot price for the Calabasas area.

The home sits in the very exclusive, gates community known as Estates at the Oaks. The Estates is said to be a gem to both value and quality of life, especially for celebrities who are seeking privacy in the Los Angeles area.

The home was sold to YouTube sensation Dhar Mann, who announced the purchase on his Instagram.

Halloween 2020

By |October 30th, 2020|Ben Lee' News|

Like just about everything else this year, Halloween 2020 is confusing. Los Angeles’ local health department initially banned trick-or-treating due to the pandemic but then back pedaled to say it was not banned but still strongly discouraged. The homeowners on Thayer Avenue, usually a bustling hotspot for crowds of costumed candy seekers have announced they will be dark to avoid crowds. An informal Nextdoor survey among neighbors in Cheviot Hills offered a mixture of opinions, mostly split right down the middle among those who would be participating and those who would not. Some have said that children this year have suffered a lot and want to offer a fun night of traditional revelry. Others are opting to not pass out candy to strangers at the door, in the interest of exercising caution during this scary time. Still others are figuring out ways to engage in drive by trick-or-treating from inside vehicles, and accepting candy in a no-touch/socially distant way. So, if you opt to venture out with your children this year, be prepared for not as many houses participating, however, there will still be some that are. Perhaps create costumes that include a mask (for parents, too) and try to keep six feet apart from others out in the street as well as those opening their front doors. Whether you choose to celebrate Halloween inside or outside your home this year, I hope you stay safe and try to have fun. Whatever you do, don’t pass out raisins. Even during a crazy, confusing and often contentious year, everyone agrees that no one likes those.

Rob Lowe Sold His Montecito Estate for $45.5M

By |October 28th, 2020|Celebrity Real Estate|

Rob Lowe and his wife Sheryl have sold their Montecito home for $45.5 million. The couple listed the home in June 2018.

Rob plays Chris Traeger in hit NBC comedy series Parks and Recreation.

The home was originally listed with Sotheby’s International Realty in 2018, but then was re-listed with The Agency.

The couple purchased the vacant 3.4 acre plot in 2006 for $8.5 million and built this beautiful East Coast-style mansion, which has now been dubbed “Oakview Estate.”

The home features six bedrooms and eleven bathrooms. The couple have worked with architect Don Nulty and interior designer Kyle Irwin to help with design changes around the estate.

Ellen DeGeneres Lists Her Montecito Compound for $40M

By |October 26th, 2020|Celebrity Real Estate|

Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi purchased this hilltop Montecito residence in early 2019 for $27 million. They expanded and modernized it fairly immediately. See the below pictures at just how beautiful the space now is.

The house was originally built in 2011, but as I mentioned above, Ellen and Portia wasted no time and quickly got to work making the place their own.

The main house is three bedrooms inside of 8,188 square feet, a guesthouse, a cabana with a gym and a security post. Total square footage is 10,674 with five beds, five full bathrooms and five half bathrooms sprawling across 9.3 acres of land.

The grounds include a top of the line koi pond, sports court and beautiful, grassy lawns.

The couple own another California home – in Beverly Hills – they actually bought it from Adam Levine some time last year for $42.5 million.

The house is truly stunning and something you cannot miss. Take some time to look through the pictures – you may try to use some of their style for inspiration within your home.

Riskin Partners Estate Group holds this listing of Ellen DeGeneres’ Montecito compound.
