When it comes to just about anything in LA, consumers can either love it or leave it. This holds true for fashion and entertainment, as well as neighborhoods and homes. So where are the home buyers flocking these days?

According to data from the MLS, Ladera Heights is currently topping the list in terms of the largest increase in home sales volume. Here, while only seven homes sold in the last three months of 2016, during the same time frame of 2017, this figure had increased by more than 190% to 18 homes – for a cumulative total of just under $21.5 million.

Another area of high interest these days is Marina del Rey. In this seaside locale, in the third quarter of 2017, the sales volume in increased more than 65% over the same quarter of 2016.
