While we may have already hit the proverbial half-way mark of summer this year, there is still plenty of time to take in some fun activities in and around the LA area before the fall season arrives. Some of the top picks include:
1) The Valley Relics Museum
One cool activity is the Valley Relics Museum. Here you’ll find a plethora of nostalgic items like cars, neon signs, and a whole host of other vintage Hollywood-related exhibits – many that you’ll likely recognize from both movies and real life over the years.
2) Venice Canals
For a moment, you may feel like you’ve been swept away to Italy when you enter the Venice Canals. While you can’t ride in a boat or gondola in these waterways, though, it can be an ideal place to take a stroll and admire the landscape, as well as the magnificent homes in the surrounding area.
3) The Getty Museum
The Getty Museum is well renowned as one of the most beautiful places in Southern California. Named after – and funded by – the late oil magnate J. Paul Getty, you’ll marvel at the fountains, pools, and gardens. As an added perk, there is no charge to enter this one-of-a-kind attraction.
