Finally, after months of house hunting in LA’s most beautiful neighborhoods, the ex-royals, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, have settled on a mansion in Santa Barbara for $14,650,000.

It may be a surprise to some that they didn’t choose Beverly Hills or Brentwood, but there is a considerable amount of privacy to be had in Santa Barbara and it’s a far quieter community for the two to raise their 1-year-old son, Archie.

Santa Barbara is just 90 minutes north of Los Angeles and many celebrities seeking to avoid the attention that LA seems to give them, are coming to places such as Santa Barbara.

The home is allegedly in the neighborhood of Montecito. It’s an 18,000 square foot home with 9 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms. It boasts beautiful rose gardens, an olive grove and a teahouse.

Celebrities like Oprah, Ellen DeGeneres, Rob Lowe and others currently reside in Santa Barbara.

Michael Imperioli one of the stars from the TV show ‘Sopranos’ has listed his Santa Barbara home for $1,995,000. It’s a European style home dubbed Villa La Cima and he bought it just two years ago for $1,525,000.

The 2,060 square foot home was built in 1980 and features four beds and three baths. The home is located just across from Elings Park on just over a half-acre of land.

The house features a large kitchen that includes a breakfast bar and looks on to a formal dining room.

Imperioli and his wife have recently moved to a sublet on the Upper West Side of New York to film his NY-based series, “Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector”.

Kat Von D is looking to sell her Spanish-style residence. She’s asking $3.4 million for the 4,100 square foot Hollywood Hills home.

Kat paid $2,175,000 for the home in 2011 and she made many updates to it. It features imported, hand-painted wallpaper. The house is currently listed as a co-listing with Marissa Faith and Jamie Sher.

The home was built in the 1920s and features 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It is full of original details including high ceilings, arched doorways and large windows. Not to mention the original tiling and hardwood flooring that can be found throughout the home.

The WeWork co-founder, Adam Neumann has listed his 10-acre hilltop compound that features two houses, a detached yoga studio, a private water well and much more. The main  house boasts 10,000 square-feet of space, has four beds, 5 baths, a theater and a billiards room. The guest house features a wine cellar, a racquetball court and of course, another 2 beds.

The compound was designed by Sim Van der Ryn and was built in 2002. Neumann paid $21.4 Million for the compound just two years ago.

Neumann had been in the spotlight over the last year or so in regards to much of the company’s efforts leading up to its IPO push (which has not yet happened).

Neumann is asking $27.5 Million for the home.
