There could soon be a “new” boutique hotel coming to the popular L.A. Arts District. The early 20th century firehouse, which is situated at Seventh Street and Santa Fe Avenue, would offer a quaint, ten-room hotel. The space would also provide ten parking spots that are located directly on-site, with an additional 30 spots at a nearby offsite location.

With its high ceilings and brick facade, the hotel will offer a nice mix of the historical, along with modern conveniences. One of many pre-war buildings being repurposed over the past few decades, the former fire house would also house a restaurant and retail shops.

Upon completion, the site, which was formerly known as Engine Co. No. 17, could be a big draw, as its location is directly across the street from the soon-to-be home of Warner Music Group’s new West Coast Headquarters that is being developed from the old Shorenstein Company’s Ford Factory.

Upon completion, if this inn happens to be full, there is also another boutique hotel that is being proposed for this same Arts District vicinity. This one will be located at the corner of Fourth and Alameda Avenue, and it would provide more than 60 guest rooms.
