Comedian Ray Romano paid just a tad bit over the $1.99 million asking price for a beautifully remodeled ranch home in the Venice area. The more than 1,800-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath residence – which was built in the mid-1950s – offers a long list of nice amenities, including a den, an attached 2-car garage (which can be directly accessed via the kitchen), and a large, lush, green, flat back yard.

The open living / dining room – which are all done in neutral shades – provide a light, bright feel, which bodes well with the newly refinished hardwood floors. The master bedroom – complete with en-suite bathroom – offers easy access to the outdoors via a sunny side deck.

The kitchen, with its newly-painted cabinets and solid-surface countertops, also provides ample room for both prep and dining, and it includes a large center island with bar seating, along with brand new stainless steel appliances. The bathrooms have all also been updated.

Romano may or may not use this home as his primary residence, as the sitcom star also owns a large mansion in Encino, as well as a Malibu beachfront home.
