The French Normandy-style home, which was once owned by Bille Joe Armstrong of Green Day, hit the market for $7.25 million. In the early 20th century, a home built by Julia Morgan lay on the land, but burned down in 1991. Armstrong built the current house — which pays homage to Morgan’s original home — in its place.

The home incorporates red bricks into the beautifully tiered walkway that winds throughout the lot. The master suite is one of the five bedrooms in the 6,900 square-foot home.

The property has had one owner since Armstrong sold it in 2009 for $4.85 million.

Doug Lambert and Rick Richetta of Compass hold the listing.
